We are now taking bookings for our Christmas and New year trips
How about Getting out of the city & recharge your batteries with us
Our aim is to take you away from the city and into the country air with as little hassle as possible. All you have to do is pack a few things and be at Ealing common Tube at 6:30pm on Friday, we do the rest.
Please read this page before you dive in, it is important.

First of all we need to tell you that our trips are not just about the horse riding or activity, but it is the best way of seeing Wales and the Brecon Beacons national park, you also do not need to be experienced, everything is great for absolute beginners or the experienced.
We have our own luxury mini coach and lovely relaxed country accommodation and the group size will be no more than 16. Our food is also some of the best you may get in the UK. We party and socialise in the evenings. Nothing on our trips is pretentious or formal. The party after the activity is just as important, so we supply you with some very cool and cheezy music and spa to help to relax your ass afterwards. We also have a big sleep in on Sunday, to help you recover, followed by the best breakfast ever at around noon.
Our trips are designed so that you go back to
work feeling refreshed, recharged and stuffed, Loads of fun, loads of food and
adventure and plenty of sleep. There are never any hidden extras, with no sales
tricks or kitties. The only thing that is not included is booze on Saturday
night, we will take you to the local shop for that. We do not want bums on
seats, just sore bums and smiley faces.
A Message from your chef and host.
Hi Guys
Just thought you might like to know a little about the food and why Bushwakkers came about. I am a well travelled chef and was lucky enough to have worked in some pretty fancy places, for too many years. 5 star international hotels in Hong Kong, Millionaires yachts, Hotel Barges in S France, Swiss ski resorts and various restaurants world wide, Cooking for rich buggers mostly. Although I enjoyed most of it, the yachts, skiing and barge in particular, it was bloody hard work, with no real time for play or relaxation, which I missed. I spent my childhood on a beach in Hong Kong, so was not really used to being closed in a hot kitchen for hours on end. Its a combination of being a beach bum and the need to cook good food, that I eventually came up with the idea of Bushwakkers. I started this biz taking people wild camping in the hills of Wales, doing horse riding or canoeing, but after 6 years of that, I got camped out, which is understandable really. Cooking for people over a campfire was certainly a challenge at the best of times.
Despite my culinary background however I would like you to know that the food I cook here is not pretentious in any way and certainly not formal, in fact quite the opposite. Now I cook for people I like, and have plenty of time to add a little love into what I'm cooking. I use only traditional and original recipes that I have discovered along the way. In some ways the food I prepare now is better, as I can use my own recipes and also cook without the need for a strict budget, or cut corners due to time pressure, I also don't spend too much time on making it look pretty with fancy garnishes on expensive crockery, but have time to cook at a slower pace and without getting FUCKING ANGRY. Anyway! I am now a calm relaxed, chilled kind of guy who just wants to please and cook for cool people who are not expecting the 5 star treatment ! some might just show through though, also I grow fresh herbs, make bread and buy the best local fresh produce. I do most of the cooking while you are doing the activity, but if you wish not to do one, ill be happy to give you a free cookery lesson. you may have to wash up though ha-ha!
I am very accessible during the weekend as I am also your guide/host and sometimes bus driver,( I am qualified to drive a bus so no worries) during the weekend feel free to ask any culinary questions, I am happy to divulge recipes and tricks of the trade. I'm also really into music so expect to hear a lot of it and please bring your own sounds too, but for fuck sake no death metal or gangsta rap.
I look forward to meeting you.
Cheers and Beers Tony
PS. There is a really good bean to cup coffee machine that you can help yourself to. This months coffee is Daterra sunrise (sweet citrus with dark chocolate overtones from the hills facing the sunrise, off the Kenyan mountains) how pretentious is that !. next month I will get some that's been passed through a pregnant Mongolian marmoset, during a full moon, with shitty overtones. I now also buy raw beans and roast them myself. you can look forward to that smell first thing in the morning, its great and so is the caffeine hit. Milo and tea is also available
A few past guests have set up groups on face book and bug bitten should you want a totally unbiased view. just search for Bushwakkers. Guest emails

No pissing in the hot tub, apart from that you can do what you like. We recycle or compost everything here so please use all the bins provided.A warning for couples Our weekend trips are not ideal if you want to have a quiet romantic weekend alone, may we suggest, Paris, Vienna or book a country cottage. And guys, if your relationship is a little rocky and you are trying to patch it up, do not surprise your girlfriend with this trip. Trust me it will end here and the rest of us don't want to here it. But if you are in love or just good friends then please come along. Our double rooms are small but with very comfortable big beds and super king size duck down dooners.
