Sorry for the late reply, first of all thanks for the delightful weekend it was fun and a real pleasure meeting you, the cake was marvellous, Julien had a great time too. Thanks for making his bday so special. Hope that whatever happens you will find something special for you.

Wales is really beautiful and I would recommend to anyone who wants a nice break.

Thanks for the group e-mail. We can't stop talking about how good the trip was and partly becasue of your hospitality. The food was unbelieveable and the atmosphere was welcoming. Your dogs were unreal and would like to say thank you again for the trip. It wouldnt have been that great without ur friendly, down-to-earth service.

I know Troy e-mailed you about the receipes. I was wondering if it is not too much trouble if i can have the cake receipe that u made for Gem. It was sensational. Undoubtably the best cake I have eaten.

Thanks again for an unreal weekend. Tanya and Kathryn also enjoyed it. It was a perfect ending to Tanya London trip before she heads back to Oz.

Thanks for a great wknd!!! It was really relaxing and very tasty food (although was a bit stiff after the horse riding) but great to see some nice scenary again. I think most of of are now keeping in touch and Georgine is already planning our next trip together!

Thanks for the email - we appreciate the apoplogy for the horse riding, but of course it wasn't your fault and didn't at all reflect on your hospitality. We all had a great time, Saturday night of course was particulaly fun and has started a jenga obsesssion! HOpefully you are able to have some guests this weekend, although with the weather it is doubtful - we were unable to make it to school on Monday and Tuesday and it's supposed to continue next week!

Glad you enjoyed our company...some people may find us a bit unbearable at times! he he We definitely needed a weekend out of London, it couldn't have come at a better time and it was just what we needed. And the food...what can I say about the food...apart from the fact my body didn't need it...it was beautiful and I certainly wished I was back there when I was eating my packet soup and crackers yesterday.

It was so great to meet you all on the weekend. We were thinking on the way home, that is must be really strange for the bus driver to see us on Friday night, all timid and quiet to each other… and then when he comes to pick us up less that 48 hours later… we are all hugging each other goodbye and laughing!

Thanks for the email Tony - we miss Trudy and Ben already (and you and your cooking too, of course)! Good luck with your New Zealand plans, let us know on your website if/when you do leave and what you plan to set up over there. That way, we can organise a trip over to NZ once we go home to Australia!

Niza - Good luck with your exam(s) - you'll make it this time 'round. ;)
Josh - We hope you land that ideal IT job so that drinks REALLY are on you next time! Also - we found some 'tool' music on our laptop...
Alison - Have lots of fun on the rest of your travels. We are proud of you for surviving a weekend with 6 crazy Aussies (and a pretty bad fall off of a moving horse). :)

Thanks for such a great weekend, I did not want to come back to London. The body is still a bit sore and stiff and it was a struggle at work today - the eyes may have shut briefly while I was staring at my computer!! The weekend will definitely go down as one of my best ever and am hoping to get back there before I fly home at the end of the year. thanks for a great weekend im sure everybody would agree with me that it was an unreal weekend.

I couldnt thank you enough for your hospatality, the great food, great spa, the lovely dogs, great jam sessions to listen too on banjo and guitar and great day riding even though it was cut short a bit. I think my arse had enough anyway.

I know how much everyone loved it and spoke about it the whole way home and today via msgs, it was just great.

If i can trouble you for the recipes of the eggs benedict, the tomato soup, the thai green curry and the pizza homemade bases. If this is to much trouble then dont worry about it, but im quite a keen cook and thought your cooking was unbelivable and one of the highlights of the weekend and everyone else agrees.

On behalf of Gerard and I, I just wanted to thank you again for a brilliant weekend. The horse riding was just fantastic and the scenery stunning – although I don't think I've ever been so sore!! Oh and that Jacuzzi was just what the doctor ordered!! And not to mention your outstanding cooking, what a treat, my favourite was your pumpkin soup – would you mind sending us the recipe…? I can see ourselves serving that up in the chalet after a hard day's skiing – and we'd most definitely give you credit for it and recommend your trip to our guests!! I'm back in Aus now. I am staying with my parents at the moment. A bit

challenging at times but it's nice to be home. I have had a month off work

so I'm ready to start looking for new job. I don't know where yet.

Eventually Melbourne but I might find temp work until Christmas. Somewhere

remote or near a beach is sounding good at the moment.

Your Christmas trip sounds fantastic. I have one question though - is it

actually possible to cook & eat more than on a standard weekend at your

place?? I remember it being constant when I was there!

I am writing to let you know that we are leaving the UK, Christmas and New Year will be spent somewhere in the heart of Sth America this year.

We never did make it back over for another weekend, but just wanted to say "thanks" again for your hospitality on the trip we did attend. We had only just arrived in the UK, and it was our first 'splurge' (still on Aussie dollars!) and we enjoyed every moment. We have recommended you to other friends...and also noticed a lovely spread in the TNT magazine, which we've been reading online since moving from London. Nice one! I had SUCH a great weekend - the riding was up there with the best I've ever done, the food was incredible, the hot tub served to ease my aching butt muscles and the company was fabulous. I'm glad you consider our group one of the more memorable ones, as I think it really was.
