Full days horse trekking on the Brecon Beacons National Park
This trip runs all year round & every weekend, We meet at Ealing Common Tube at 6:30pm every Friday. 16 people max. We get up at 8.45am on Saturday & have a huge cooked breakfast and start trekking from 10:30 am until about 4.00 pm. The trek takes us over the Brecon Beacons national park, which is a group of mountains in Mid Wales on and around the 3rd highest peak in the UK. The scenery is spectacular, rugged and varied. You will ride over mountain tracks, small single track roads, through rivers and loads of unspoilt countryside, We will do some cantering if you wish (cantering is weather permitting IE not too muddy). There are also wild horses in the mountains. (sorry you cant ride those) After the ride we will give you some fresh home made soup and home made seeded bread rolls. Most of our food where possible is home made.This is suitable for beginners & intermediate, experienced riders are very welcome.

(Warning for couples) Our trips are not ideal if you want a quiet romantic weekend alone, but if you want to party & socialise then please come along. Our Double rooms are quite small and not en-suite but tastefully decorated, however the beds are very comfortable. This also is not an ideal weekend to patch up a failing relationship either, Please go to Paris or book a country cottage on your own instead. Otherwise if you are in love, or just good friends, we would love to come, you will not be sorry you came. Sorry but in the past, we have had couples break up here, the rest of the group do not want to hear it. (if you are lucky though and you stay up late you may even get the tub to yourself for a couple of hours.

Lunch. After Breakfast we will put out a selection of cold meats, cheeses and salad for you to make a packed lunch with some fruit, chocolate munchies and a bottle of Brecon spring Water, we put our lunch into saddle bags and eat on the trail.
In the evening you can relax your ass in the hot tub then party. A totally home made three course dinner will be served up. Our cottage has a party or chill out room with an open log fire, it also doubles up as a disco with smoke machine, laser lights, etc and loads of cool or cheesy tunes. !!!
.We also have an MP3 connection if you want to play your own music.
Breakfast
is about midday on Sunday so no worries. There is no pressure
in the evening,
so no itinerary, whatever happens,
happens, it generally does. But you can do what you want and whatever
makes you happy !! I.E. there are no forced games !!!
okay this is a little boring, but we now have a computer which is ready to
use anytime you like and its free.
THE PRICE AND WHAT IS INCLUDED
The price of this trip is £220 and includes return transport from London, 2 nights accommodation, all food, tea & coffee, horse riding, drinks on Friday night. Only thing that is not included is drinks on Saturday night, we take you to the local shop after the ride, where Anne & Dai or local shop keepers will be happy to serve you. Booze is cheaper in Wales so do not bring it with you. There really is no hidden extras.

OUR WELSH COTTAGE
We have recently acquired this great Welsh 170 year old cottage in a very small village called Defynnog on the Brecon beacons national park. It has been tastefully refurbished to resemble a home and also has a large hot tub next to a river. It has open leafy country views and a river with rock pools and a small waterfall. The house has 4 rooms, 1 with 4 bunk beds, 1 with 2 bunk beds. We will put a group of friends in one room when possible. We also have 2 double rooms for couples or just good friends, The house also has 3 showers, We also have 2 good guitars, bongos, piano and didge available to those who can play. We like cool music so please bring your ipod or MP3

Here are some of our rooms. Our Double rooms are just as nice but we do not have a wide angle lens for the camera so can not show them here. but please do not expect en suite facilities'. all our beds are very comfortable and fitted with dooners. Only our guests stay here, it is not a hostel, however it does have all fire and safety regulations in place. All rooms have a wall mounted hair dryer and mirror. Our chef (Tony) is well travelled & 5 star trained with 23 years experience. 10 years cooking in Hong Kong. the rest spent cooking on private yachts, Hotel Barges in France, directors dining rooms and various restaurants around Europe. Despite his experience though, the food is not pretentious, just quality and very relaxed. he will ask about your likes and dislikes during the trip. In summer we will normally have a Barbie/braai. Special diets are not a problem, you will be asked when you book. We do not skimp on the food. It may just be some of the best food you will have in the UK but without the glitz and waiters.
During the weekend for breakfast, you will be offered. Scrambled eggs, pancakes, French toast, sausages, bacon, mushrooms, Tomatoes, Eggs Benedict. fruit juice. there is also Cereal, should you be on a diet. We also have a great fresh coffee machine and various teas and hot chocolate, you can have as much as you want.
